Manual Import of Assets

While integration is the preferred method of asset integration, Cybrance does support manual import of a client’s assets.  All manual imports are done via .csv file upload

 

To import assets, please us the Asset Template for Upload

 

An example of a completed template can be found here.

 

  1. To start, navigate to your customer to obtain the customer ID which will be required as part of the template upload.

    The client ID can be found by navigating to CUSTOMERS > [CUSTOMER NAME] which will then present the customer profile. The ID is found at the end of the URL (example o=99999)


2. Once you obtain the record you can go to your import template (downloaded previously) and enter the customer ID into the customer_id and parent_id fields (same number in both)



3. In the parent type field enter the word customer.  This will need to be applied to all asset records you wish to import.



4. To upload the assets you will need to login to the vCIOToolbox platform and use the link below.

You will be redirected to this page for upload.



5. Once all assets are uploaded you can confirm the data by navigating to  CUSTOMER > IT REVIEW > MORE > ASSETS
